How It Works:

Our Online Mediation Process

At Feig Mediation Group, we believe parents and families achieve the best outcomes when they work together to create solutions they all can say yes to.

That’s one reason why we exclusively conduct our mediation sessions online. Online mediation removes many of the barriers that can prevent families from coming together, giving every member the opportunity to have a voice and be a full participant in the conversation.

Our online mediation process is designed to create a more accessible, flexible, and comfortable experience that allows you to focus on what’s most important to you—and where distance, scheduling, and other logistical challenges are minimized.

We Make Online Mediation Easy

Quick Start-Up

In most cases, you can have an initial consultation within one day.

Affordable

Our pay-as-you-go model means there’s no retainer or upfront costs.

Short-Term

You don’t have to commit to a certain  number of sessions. The process lasts only as long as you need it to.

Flexible

We offer both daytime and evening sessions, so you can find a time that fits your schedule.

Our Online Mediation Process

Step 1: Free Consultation
A 20-minute session to introduce you to us and our process. Let's make sure we're the right fit for your family.
Step 2: Initial Session
We start with an initial orientation to the process, usually an hour long or less. The purpose of this session is to orient everyone to the process and create the agenda and initial roadmap for working together.
Step 3: Working Sessions
Each online mediation session is 2 hours. Our process is designed to address specific challenges within a focused time frame. The number of sessions depends on the complexity of your family's situation and the number of issues you're looking to work through.
Step 4: Memorandum of Understanding
Once your family arrives at a shared decision, we’ll work together to develop a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that summarizes your agreements and serves as your roadmap for moving forward. We can also educate you on how to work with your other advisors, such as your attorneys or therapists, to ensure your MOU is honored and protected across your team.
Step 5: Ongoing Support
Even after the initial challenges are resolved, we remain an ongoing resource for your family. You can turn to us whenever you need help updating your current plan or navigating new parenting and family challenges.
